Crossroads EIT is a nonprofit organization based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We offer developmental screening/testing, school readiness, parenting support, play therapy, and occupational therapy for children, which is made possible through state and local funding, as well as private donors.

Meet Our Therapists

Samantha Scott, PhD
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Scott received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her master’s degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Central Florida.

She completed a health-focused internship through West Virginia University’s School of Medicine, where she honed her assessment and therapeutic skills in a rural healthcare setting. Most recently, she earned a postdoctoral master’s degree in psychopharmacology from Farleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Scott is a member of the Greater Salisbury Committee, Women’s Leadership Steering Committee, Healthy Minds for Shore, Behind the Line, Inc., International Association of Chiefs of Police, Wicomico County Education Foundation, the American Psychological Association, Maryland Psychological Association, and she is president and founder of The Child and Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization with two projects: 1 Year to Empowerment and Crossroads Early Intervention & Training.
She has received numerous awards for her accomplishments and comes with many years of training and clinical experience. She is passionate about teaching and training, promoting the importance of preventative mental health care, and bringing more mental health services to the area.

Dr. Rathkamp
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Rathkamp is a graduate of the School of Behavioral Health and Psychology at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where she received her Doctorate in Developmental Psychology.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Sarah Ring, OTA/C, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant dedicated to supporting children’s functional development, independence, and participation in daily life activities.

Dr. Abigail Tingle
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Tingle has extensive training and experience in the Wicomico County School system where she worked directly with students with severe emotional dysregulation in special education.
